The Stifel Killington Cup

This year’s Stifel Killington Cup will take place over Thanksgiving Weekend on November 27-29, 2026.

Killington World Cup Foundation
The Killington World Cup Foundation is a nonprofit organization developed to support athletes at the Killington World Cup and beyond. Through this unique partnership, Killington and the KWCF are able to raise significant funding to support winter sports infrastructure and programming throughout the Northeast. In the past six years ago, the KWCF has donated over $2,000,000 in grants ranging from $15,000 to $25,000, engaging more than 10,000 participants in programs that provide youth with opportunities and foster access to winter sports.
“The KWCF is critical to not only the success of the Killington World Cup events each year, but it has changed the lives of so many young ski racers across the Northeast with its goal of benefitting local and regional youth development programs. KWCF continues to provide opportunity and critical help to clubs to help them support the dreams of their athletes,” said Olympian and broadcaster Doug Lewis.
During the Stifel Killington Cup, Killington Resort provides exclusive access to the KWCF to provide VIP ticket sales, and these funds go to support the programs throughout the season. Fundraising is a year-round project, and you can learn more about the KWCF by visiting kwcfgivesback.org. While there are many World Cup events each season, the Stifel Killington Cup is the only one giving back to the community!

The Killington Cup Venue
Both Killington Cup races take place on the Superstar trail, finishing on the doorstep of the Roaring Brook in the heart of the festival village. As racers cross the finish line, they will meet a raucous Killington crowd surrounding the finish area and extending throughout the K-1 Base Area.
The festival village is accessible to guests who purchased a Killington Cup general admission or premier seating ticket, offering excellent views of the lower racecourse from the foot of Superstar while two jumbo screens show the action on the upper trail. The general admission viewing area is adjacent to the ticketed Grandstands and VIP area.
Please note: all guests are required to go through a security checkpoint in front of K-1 Base Lodge to enter the festival village, K-1 Lodge, and spectator areas.
This is an outdoor event—wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear. Surface conditions in the base area will be variable, including everything from snow to mud.
For the enjoyment of all guests, the following items are prohibited in the Killington Cup festival village:
- Chairs. All spectating areas provide standing room only. ADA accessible viewing options are available, just ask a Mountain Ambassador for assistance.
- Alcoholic beverages. A variety of food and beverage options including alcohol will be available for purchase within designated areas of the festival village.
- Glass containers. Please bring drinking water in only plastic or metal containers.
- Knives. Please leave these home.
- Weapons. All weapons are prohibited.
- Laser Pointers. Use of laser pointers could interfere with the race and scheduled entertainment and endanger others. Use will result in expulsion from the event.
- Pets. We love pets and Killington is a pet-friendly resort but given the scale of this event we ask you to leave them at home this weekend. Woof!
- Illegal Drugs. Use of illegal drugs on Killington Resort property is strictly prohibited.
- Drones. Use of drones on Killington Resort property is strictly prohibited without approval from management.
- Overnight Parking. No overnight parking is available on resort property and violators will be towed.
Please be aware that Killington Resort is a smoke-free resort. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the festival village but is permitted in the K-1 Parking Lot.
Please Arrive Early, Be Prepared, Leave Bags at Home
Only bring what you absolutely need to the venue and leave bags at home. All persons and bags will be searched prior to entering the Killington Cup venue. We strongly suggest that you do not bring bags to the venue.
Learn about the security screening process and review our list of prohibited items.

- If you see behavior that strikes you as odd or out-of-place.
The Stifel Killington Cup Musical Entertainment Lineup
All concerts are included with the purchase of Killington Cup General Admission or premier seating option.
Guests arriving midday for a concert will be required to go through the security checkpoint, show proof of purchase, and likely be required to park at the Pico or Skyeship lots along Route 4, as all other lots will likely be full. Please plan accordingly! We strongly suggest that you do not bring bags to the venue—priority for security screening will be given to those without bags.
Killington will host free concerts on the Kona Big Wave stage throughout the weekend. Stay tuned for the announcement of our musical performers!

Skiing & Snowboarding during World Cup Weekend
Visiting Killington Resort over Thanksgiving Weekend while we host the Stifel Killington Cup is an experience like none other—we highly encourage you to allocate some time to watch the racing and the live music. That said, the event does have a significant impact on our operations for skiers and riders visiting Saturday, Nov. 28 or Sunday, Nov. 29 (these impacts don’t apply to Thursday or Friday, Nov 26-27). Here are our top things for you to know:
Skiing and Riding Terrain
We are open for skiing and riding to the public during the Killington Cup with intermediate and advanced level terrain only. We likely will not have any beginner terrain open until sometime in December.
Conditions and terrain for skiing & riding are always changing. For the latest updates, be sure to check the Mountain Report before traveling to The Beast.
Base Lodge Access & Services
K-1 Lodge is within the event venue, and a Killington Cup General Admission ticket is required to access the Lodge and all facilities/services within. Having a lift ticket, Ikon Pass or Killington Season Pass does not grant you access to K-1 Lodge or the event.
Rentals are available at Snowshed Lodge only.
K-1 rental shop is closed Nov. 28-Nov.29. Reminder: we likely will not have any beginner terrain available.
Lift ticket pick-up kiosks and a Guest Services window will be available outside of the event venue for ticket and pass pickup and assistance. Ikon Passes can be printed at this location. Guest Services windows will also be open at Snowshed Lodge for guest assistance.
Portable toilets will be available in the K-1 Lodge parking lot and base area. Restrooms are available for skiers and snowboarders who do not purchase a Killington Cup event ticket in the Peak Lodge.
There will be no food or beverage service available adjacent to the venue. Food and beverage service is available to skiers and snowboarders in the Peak Lodge.
Don’t forget your gear! Should you need to visit our K-1 Lodge retail store for any forgotten items, you’ll need a Killington Cup general admission ticket.
Parking
All parking at K-1 Base Lodge is reserved for VIP Parking purchasers. Free parking is available in remote lots with shuttle service to the K-1 Base Area.
Unless you’ve purchased a Killington Cup general admission ticket for K-1 Lodge access, plan to gear up at your vehicle in a remote lot and shuttle to K-1 Base Area with your ski/snowboard gear only. Also, plan to arrive early and be patient.
Killington Cup Venue Access
If you purchase a Killington Cup General Admission ticket, you will be required to enter the venue through one designated entry point and go through security screening. Learn about the security screening process and review our list of prohibited items.
