Resort Cancellation Policies
Cancellation credits
In many cases, opting for a cancellation credit is the best way to cancel your product without incurring fees. Cancellation credits are issued as a dollar value, similar to a gift card, and can be used towards the purchase of eligible products until the value has been completely used or the credit expires.
- Credits are valid for one year + two weeks from the date of issuance. For example, a credit issued on December 24, 2025 is valid for use through January 8, 2026. Unused credits can not be extended.
- Eligible products include season passes, winter lift, mountain bike and adventure center tickets, Mountain Sports School (This includes: mountain bike lessons, and ski/snowboard lessons.)
- Credits can not be used towards special event tickets, lodging, retail purchases or for food and beverage purchases. This is not an all-inclusive list.
- Cancellation credits are valid at both Killington and Pico, regardless of the resort it was issued from.
Redeem Cancellation Credit Voucher
- Log in to your online account here.
- Make a note of the voucher ID (13-character code) as this is the number you will enter during the checkout process. Click the View/Print button to check the current balance.
- Add products to your cart, unless you've already done this.
- Once all products have been added to the cart, select "check out" and follow through with all required steps.
- On the payment screen, where you enter your credit card information, you will enter your voucher number. If on a mobile device, you will need to click “ORDER SUMMARY” to be able to enter your voucher number.

Winter Cancellation Policies
If a pass holder can no longer use their season pass due to an injury, becoming pregnant or the loss of a job, to name a few reasons, we will credit a proportional amount of the purchase price based on our Season Pass Cancellation Policy.
Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC (KPSRP)
Season Pass Cancellation Policy
Covered Products
Killington Unlimited, Midweek, College, Beast 365, Pico Unlimited, and Pico K.A. passes are covered under this credit policy. Spring, Mountain Biking, Golf, Adventure Center, or any other pass are not eligible for cancellations under this policy.
Cancellation Eligibility & Limitations
Any season pass holder of KPSRP may request to cancel their season pass if they have a change of circumstance not of their own choosing which prevents them from using their pass for at least 30 consecutive days. Requests for cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of KPSRP but are most typically issued for injuries, illnesses, pregnancy, job loss, or relocation. Supporting documentation (i.e., from a physician, employer, etc.) may be requested prior to approving a cancellation and failure to provide documentation when requested may result in the denial of a request.
Season passes or payments cannot be suspended temporarily. Cancellation of a pass will result in forfeiture of all associated access, discounts, vouchers, and benefits, including reciprocal Ikon Base Passes provided with the Beast 365 Pass.
There will be no cancellations granted for changes in circumstance which occur on or after March 15 and all requests for cancellations must be made before April 15 of the season for which the pass is valid.
Credits will not be provided for the reasons listed below which is not an all-inclusive list:
- A change in circumstance that does not prevent the pass holder from skiing/riding for less than 30 days.
- Passes purchased under fraudulent conditions.
- Injury resulting from skiing or snowboarding on closed trails or by going beyond the ski area boundary.
- Lack of snow, weather conditions, or trail/lift closures.
- Loss of pass by family member or friend for reasons noted above or for reasons in violation of our Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks, Indemnity and Activity Agreement (Waiver).
- Unplanned closure of the resort due to war, public health emergency or weather-related situation.
- Revocation of pass privileges by KPSRP management.
Winter Only Season Pass Credit Schedule

| Opening day of ski/ride season | 100% |
| November 30 | 85% |
| December 25 | 75% |
| January 15 | 60% |
| February 15 | 40% |
| March 15 | 20% |
All-Seasons Pass Credit Schedule
For Beast 365 and Pico K.A. passes, the following guidelines will be used if the pass cancellation request is approved.
Monthly payments will be cancelled beginning the month following the date on which the change in circumstance occurs. Once cancelled, monthly payments cannot be reinstated. Credits will not be provided for previous months, regardless of usage or reason.
If the pass was paid in full, a partial credit will be issued and will be calculated by multiplying the monthly payment amount by the number of months remaining on the pass.
How To Request a Cancellation
There will be no cancellations granted for changes in circumstance which occur on or after March 15 and all requests for cancellations must be made before April 15 within the season for which the pass is valid.
Requests may be made by filling out the Cancellation Request Form. Sorry, but we are unable to accept requests for cancellation via phone or in-person.
Please allow up to 7 days for review and response to requests.
Receiving Your Credit
All credits will be issued as an electronic cancellation credit voucher, valid for 54 weeks from the date of issuance. This credit can be applied towards the future purchase of season passes, tickets, rentals, or lessons at Killington or Pico. At Killington, it may be used for winter or summer operations; it cannot be used at retail or food and beverage locations or for lodging. Payment vouchers are transferrable amongst family members but cannot be sold.
Alternatively, the recipient of a credit may choose to have the credit issued as a refund. A refund fee of 5% of the total amount to be credited will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds for passes purchased by credit card will only be refunded to the original credit card used to make the purchase and may take up to ten business days to post from the date the request is approved and processed.
Policy Subject to Change
This policy was last updated on October 8, 2024, and is subject to change without notice. The most recent version of this policy is always available at killington.com or picomountain.com.
TICKETS & RENTALS PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM KILLINGTON RESORT/PICO MOUNTAIN
Prior to 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the lift ticket or rental start date, tickets or rentals may be cancelled for a 90% refund or 100% cancellation credit. For example, a ticket or rental starting on a Saturday is eligible for a 90% refund or 100% lift ticket/rental credit through 4:00 p.m. the preceding Friday.
After that time period, tickets or rentals may be cancelled up until 10:00 a.m. daily (even if they have been used to test conditions) for a 100% lift ticket/rental credit equal to the value of the ticket for that day or remaining future days on a multi-day ticket. No refunds or credits are available after 10:00 a.m. for same day or past day tickets.
- There are no cancellations available or credits issued for direct-to-lift tickets that are not date specific (i.e., K-Tickets) which have not yet been used or complimentary tickets which have a $0 value.
- Visit a ticket window, complete our online form, or call us at 800-621-6867 to cancel your tickets prior to 10:00 a.m.
- To determine a credit amount on a multi-day ticket or rental we divide the number of days being cancelled by the total number of days the ticket or rental is valid and multiply that by the price paid for the ticket. For example, if cancelling one day of a three-day ticket, 1 divided by 3 equals .33 and therefore 33% of the original ticket price will be the amount of the cancellation credit.
- This policy applies to tickets purchased directly from Killington Resort either on-site, online at killington.com or through our call center. It does not apply to products purchased from a third party.
- If canceling a season pass or Ikon Pass bring-a-friend ticket, the voucher is not re-instated for another use in the future. The use of that bring a friend voucher is forfeited.
Fast Tracks cannot be cancelled; no refunds or credits are available.
TICKETS & RENTALS PURCHASED FROM A THIRD PARTY
These are one-day tickets that are valid for any day during the season (weekend or holiday restrictions may apply) and purchased from an authorized reseller.
Tickets may be cancelled up until 10:00 a.m. daily for a $90 cancellation credit valid towards a future lift ticket purchase directly from Killington Resort/Pico Mountain.
- Lift ticket/rental credits are valid towards a future lift ticket or rental purchase and expire one year + two weeks from the date of cancellation. For example, a credit issued on December 24, 2020 is valid through January 7, 2022.
- There are no cancellations available or credits issued for third party direct-to-lift tickets that are not date specific (i.e., Ski Shop or Ski Council tickets) which have not yet been used.
- Visit a ticket window, complete our online form, or call us at 800-621-6867 to cancel your tickets prior to 10:00 a.m.
TICKETS & RENTALS PURCHASED VIA GROUP SALES
These are date-specific tickets that were originally purchased from our group sales department.
Tickets may be cancelled up until 10:00 a.m. daily for a cancellation credit valid towards a future lift ticket purchase directly from Killington Resort/Pico Mountain.
- Visit a ticket window, complete our online form, or call us at 800-621-6867 to cancel your tickets prior to 10:00 a.m.
- The value of the cancellation credit will be calculated based on the price paid to Killington for the group/tour operator ticket or rental. Groups or tour operators may add additional fees to the tickets or rentals and Killington/Pico does not issue credits for the difference in price.
- The cancellation credit is issued directly to the guest cancelling the ticket and not to the group or tour operator.
Group & Private Lessons
Prior to 4:00 p.m. two days prior to the lesson date, lessons may be cancelled for a 90% refund or 100% cancellation credit. For example, a lesson for a Saturday is eligible for a 90% refund or 100% cancellation credit through 4:00 p.m. the preceding Wednesday.
Prior to 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the lesson date, lessons may be cancelled for a 100% cancellation credit. No refunds. For example, a lesson for a Saturday is eligible for a 100% cancellation credit through 4:00 p.m. the preceding Friday. A refund is not available.
After 4:00 p.m. the day prior to the lesson, there are no cancellations or changes permitted since we’ve held that spot from our inventory and have assigned an instructor to teach the lesson. We know that weather and snow conditions vary, but if the resort is open for skiing/riding we will be providing lessons as scheduled and there are no refunds, vouchers, or credits issued due to these events. Thank you for your understanding.
- Call us at 800-923-9444 to cancel your lessons.
- To determine a credit amount on a multi-day lesson, we cancel the multi-day product and re-sell lessons for the dates still being used. The remaining balance will be the amount of the cancellation ticket credit. For example, if you are cancelling the second day of a 3-day lesson, we will cancel the 3-day lesson and sell two 1-day lessons; your credit amount will be the remaining balance. If you are cancelling the last day of a 3-day lesson, we will cancel the 3-day lesson and sell one 2-day lesson; you credit amount will be the remaining balance.
- This policy does not apply to multi-session seasonal lesson programs (i.e. Beast Kids, 4241 Club, or our Midweek Session programs) or specialty camps (i.e. Women's Camps, Mogul Camps, Mogul Weekends, or Race Camps).
