Cooler in the Mountains Concert Series: Mojo Birds
Join us outside the K-1 Lodge from 3:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. for a FREE concert opened by James Joel and headlined by Mojo Birds. Grab a lawn chair, a beach blanket, and the whole family and head to the K-1 base area for this all-ages event.
Mojo Birds formed their funky flock in Durango, Colorado, bringing together 6 musicians from across the country and around the world.
The result is a tight-knit, groove-first sound built for celebration- rootsy, soulful, feel-good, with a little Afro-Peruvian spice.
This show is part of the FREE Cooler in the Mountains Concert Series sponsored by Kona Big Wave, which takes place every Saturday afternoon from July 4 - September 5 and features a live show from top national and regional acts.
Food, Drinks, & The Venue
A bar will be open on the K-1 Lodge patio during each concert, serving up Kona Big Wave and other tasty beverages. BBQ will be available for purchase outside of K-1 Lodge during the Mojo Birds show.
Please note that construction is currently taking place near the K-1 base lodge. Please do not pass coned-off areas of the parking lot and be sure to access the concert venue through the K-1 front doors located near the entrance to the K-1 Gondola.
Use the link below to view a map of the venue and see which area is designated for alcohol purchased at our on-site bar and which area is BYOB only. Bringing alcohol that was purchased on-site into the BYOB area (or vice versa) is strictly prohibited.
