Killington 25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Walk & Pancake Breakfast
Join the Killington Firefighters Association and our community partners as we honor the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001. This memorial walk follows a 2-mile route through Killington, remembering the lives lost and the extraordinary courage shown that day.
Killington Resort will match all donations and event proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast and Memorial Walk.
Pancake Breakfast
Start your morning with the 9/11 Memorial Pancake Breakfast before participating in the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Walk. Purchase your breakfast tickets online in advance and save money compared to day-of-event pricing. In addition to our famous pancakes, we’ll also be serving eggs, bacon, yogurt, and other light breakfast options, so there’s something for everyone. Food for the Pancake Breakfast is graciously donated by The Mountain Inn.

Memorial Walk
Along the route, participants will encounter memorial displays sharing the stories of firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and other first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Whether you walk in remembrance, to support our local first responders, or to help educate the next generation about the events of 9/11, your participation helps ensure their legacy is never forgotten.
Participants are encouraged to park at K-1 Lodge, The Mountain Inn, and the KMS lower lot adjacent to West Park Road (old Moguls lot) where a complimentary shuttle will bring you to the starting point of the walk and bring you back to your car at the end if needed.
Following the walk, stay and enjoy a community celebration at The Mountain Inn featuring Touch-A-Truck, food, family activities, and more. It’s a day to remember, learn, connect, and support those who continue to serve our community.

Registration
- Every participant in the Memorial Walk must get a ticket and complete a signed event waiver.
- Register as an individual, start a team, or join an existing team.
- Want to create or join a fundraising Team? Use the peer-to-peer registration link below.
- Due to limitations of the registration platform, participants joining or creating a team must register individually (one person at a time) using the link below.
- Multiple payment options are available, including Pay What You Can registration with options starting at $0. A suggested donation is appreciated, but our goal is for everyone in the community to be able to participate regardless of financial circumstances.
